Give to Generational Change

"They proposed marriage to me once… but I want to get married at 18 or above, I do not want to get married before that because I am not ready."

FATOUMATA SUMAREH, CEP PARTICIPANT (TOUBA SANDU, URR, THE GAMBIA)

Momentum is building across West Africa for a brighter future for girls and their communities. Tens of thousands of girls, like Fatoumata, are now able to dream of a life free from violence and strive towards a future filled with knowledge, choice, and opportunity. Thousands of communities are making human dignity a reality across Africa.

The next few years present a rare opportunity to transform the lives of 1.6 million people. With your help, we can:

  • End FGC in Senegal and expand the movement in West Africa
  • Greatly reduce child marriage and reduce violence against women and girls
  • Transform education for a generation of parents and children.

In short, we've taken our best work and most promising opportunities and created a historic effort to transform a generation

But we need your help to do it. The math is simple. Every $13 monthly commitment we receive can cover the full costs of a participant in our program. That participant—most often a woman or adolescent girl like Fatoumata—will join others as ambassadors for change, reaching thousands.

Join the movement today!
