In celebration of International Women’s Day earlier this month, Tostan Prison Project participants, prison staff, and Tostan team members gathered at Maison d’Arrête et Correction (M.A.C.) Prison in Thiès, Senegal to honor the courage and accomplishment of the female detainees as they work to build better futures for themselves. Tostan Communications Assistant Alisa Hamilton documented the day’s festivities in the video above.
