Today, April 30, sees the release of However Long the Night: Molly Melching’s Journey to Help Millions of African Women and Girls Triumph, written by acclaimed writer and journalist Aimee Molloy. The book shares the inspiring story of Tostan Founder and Executive Director, Molly Melching, what brought her to Senegal and how she helped to set in motion a community-led movement promoting human rights and the abandonment of female genital cutting.

To celebrate the release, Molly Melching is making several public appearances across the US, starting yesterday in Washington DC with a luncheon hosted by the Women’s Foreign Policy Group, and a store event hosted by Eileen Fisher.
