Tostan has been working in several prisons in Senegal since 2003 under the coordination of the Manager of Special projects, Ms. Oumou Diop. The objective of the Prison Project is to improve the living conditions of prisoners and to facilitate their social reintegration. This project carries out different activities in order to reach its objective.
To this end, a page of the magazine THE MIRADOR, Women in places of deprivation of liberty of the Prison Administration (n°001-NOVEMBER 2021) has been exclusively dedicated to Tostan through its package of activities and training granted to the inmates.
