Seydou Yatassaye is the Mayor of Bala, a village in Senegal.
He participated in July 2021 in Tostan’s Seminar on Promoting Well-being at the Tostan Training Center in Thies.
As a mayor, he liked learning about roles and responsabilities of the municipal council as it will help him in his everyday work. He acknowledges the impact of Tostan’s program on women and is proud of how they are now able to speak publicly. Seydou particularly appreciates how it is now easier to communicate with the community.
