To mark the 10th International Day for the Abandonment of Female Genital Cutting (FGC) on February 6, 2013, West African Democracy Radio (WADR) interviewed Tostan’s Founder and Executive Director, Molly Melching, on the challenges and successes in the movement to abandon FGC.

In the interview, Melching discusses how health and human rights education lead to community decisions for solidarity, peace, and the public declaration for the abandonment of FGC.
